About

Teresa is 11 years old and is now a big girl, as her mom and dad tell her. But Teresa is afraid, and her restlessness manifests itself right after sunset, when she has to leave the house alone to go buy ice cream; Teresa is afraid of something that does not yet have a name and yet she feels creeping into her life, into the tranquillity of her days, even threatening her mother, father, and little brother Lucio.
Then one day something happens that her father swore could never happen to her. In a disrupted daily routine, Teresa thus discovers that sometimes parents lie. There is no one to ask for help. The adults are alone, but so are the boys and girls.
The last days of Teresa’s summer will also be the last ones illuminated by the serene certainties of childhood.
Then, almost dark.
